Whole grain or refined pasta?
« on: June 27, 2013, 09:11:20 AM »
Do u guys eat pasta or rice as a staple?
Refined pasta n rice is supposed to be horrible for your cardiovascular system in regards to plaque buildup. But brown rice n whole grain pasta can actually prevent plaque buildup.

Pasta burns my stomach.

White rice is good, tasty, and cheap. Brown on the other hand is a bitch to cook, and taste like your momz hairy ass.

I don't know about this plaque build up you speak of. Are you talking about heart disease or shit on your teeth?

ahahahha, it's cool man.

My general understanding is that sugar is sugar, irrespective of how refined it is or not.

Autoimmune diseases are generally caused by mainly genetic predisposition which is aggravated by an unhealthy lifestyle, meaning, inactivity, being overweight, smoking, drinking, and rec. drugs, in addition to making a habit of constantly eating more that what your body requires.

As long as you keep a healthy weight, meaning, 15%bf or less for males, in addition to regular exercise, you don't need to worry about brown or white pasta etc...
