Asians are gross when it comes to hygiene.
Depends which ones.
I swear the Japanese are so clean,they squeak when they walk.
Chinese are big time spitters and I've only been there once, so didn't really get a handle on their hygiene habits. I believe spitting has stopped in Hong Kong after Bird Flu.
Thailand has a lot of squat-pot toilets with bum spray devices and no tissue, so basically they get their hands involved. Many toilets are without soap too, so they are washing those hands with just water afterwards. Not so much in Bangkok but certainly out in the boonies.
Singaporeans are clean and I'm led to believe they actually have a law that says you have to wash your hands after the toilet. So you can get arrested for not doing so.
Malaysia can be pretty rough but it's a mix of Malay, Chinese & Indians and so it sort of depends where you are. The Indians tend to be the filthiest there.
India - well they shit where they eat in a lot of places.
I am sure some in depth analysis is available somewhere but living out here, I'd rather not know.
