"Actor and martial artist Jim Kelly, who vaulted to fame alongside the legendary Bruce Lee in the classic 1973 action film “Enter the Dragon,” has died of undisclosed causes, his ex-wife Marilyn Dishman reported earlier today on her Facebook page."

I've read that it was cancer on other sites. 

I met him not long after moving to CA.  Nice guy, approachable,really fit.

Sad...dude could have been bigger than what he was...and he was a tennis fanatic.

And, has anybody seen pics of him without the Afro? Let's just say, we now know why he kept it for a long time.

Both were absolutely great QBs... neither got a ring, but it's tough to say.

R.I.P. to a true legend of the martial arts. He used to train at the old Gracie Torrance academy, loved Rorian Gracie and said he wished their was UFC and Gracie Jiu Jitsu, when he was coming up.

Yep - one of the first traditionalists to embrace groundfighting. Seemed like a very good guy in all his interviews.
