Definitely could have been handled differently. But no cop is getting any stitches or scars from a dog attack, that's for sure.

They could have handled it differently. I often try see situations from the cops side but this is not right.

Cops are definitely afraid of physical work or to get dirty in any way. Charging pit bulls or over agressive big dogs are another story though.

The dog wasn't a weapon before the cops started arresting a guy for videotaping, which as far as we all know and has been supported by the courts, is not illegal.

An illegal arrest, that results in killing a dog.
