This has been my experience. U buy her the house she picked out, she either wants to totally renovate it or buy another one. U buy her a BMW, she wants a Mercedes. And on and on. Never satisfied.  

Stop hanging around with shallow women and try and find someone who is your intellectual equal.

Kind of been my experience.    I've seen more crocodile tears, emotional blackmail, and just plain bullshit than anyone deserves, and that is the truth of it.  Tbh I blame myself, despite all sorts of futile corrective efforts, for allowing it.  It was, in fact, my own agreeability which invited such nonsense, and I knew it too.  And continue to know it.

The world is filled with average, don't wanna-hurt-your-felings, help-out-if-I-can, weak-willed dudes enduring perpetually dissatisfied women with an always-in-crisis emotional angle.  I guess some wind up getting married.  This has not, however, been my experience.

You're absolutely right.  Good post.  I think of it this way, most relationships will eventually reach a stagnation point.  At this point you have two choices, leave and admit long term relationships aren't for you or work through it.  I've been with my wife for fifteen years and its better now than ever.

What about independent women who work medial jobs and know how tough life can be, especially when you have to budget your monthly salary down to the last penny?

One of my biggest litmus test so to speak when judging a women, is if she works, what she does for work, and how long she had been working.

The potential problem i found is, most long-term full-time working women are not so good looking, they are either immigrants, or serious white trash from butt fuck nowhere who got pregnant at a young age.

The good looking chicks always manage to use their vagina to get ahead in life, either it be marrying a rich fella, or finding a fella that'll support her ass sitting at home all day.

I think if you meet the right girl who's compatible for you, then yes...her love will marry up with her compatibility.

You just can't marry the first girl who comes around. And yes, it's a bit of a crapshoot too.

That's why I'm glad we lived together for many years before getting hitched and having kids. By then, we knew each other extremely well, and there was a layer of trust that we could depend on. We could trust that we knew each other well enough to be able to interact with civility, forethought, kindness and love. That the relationship was good for both of us - that it was better than being alone, and worth it to nurture because the odds of finding better would be slim and not worth the risk.

My wife is a great lady. She'd easily drive most men to an early grave. But she's just right for me and I'm better for having her in my life. So I'm glad I got a good one for me. Hopefully she feels the same about me. I'm sure I'm the reason she's graying young, but she obviously likes her chances with me more than the next guy down the street, so I can't be all bad.

The concept of independent working woman was recently introduced in America and Europe because of the capitalist system.

More bodies working(which translates into more consumption), more tax revenue earned, lower wages due to increased work force.

Also, religion has to do a lot with the concept of marriage, and stay at home moms.

Religion and social stigma is what keeps most marriages around the world intact, although they can be brutal and fake, the option of divorce is simply not an option.
