yeah, exactly, ofc in dieting one is "weaker",but its relative to so many factors.
if i want to show off, i just do this, i take two days off gym, eat 10k calories of pure trash on both days, get good sleep, and then next day in gym strenght is like the old days, or very close to it.
i wont even say numbers, that is how little i care about "strenght".
its in some exercises double the weight used etc.
this only proves how litle strenght and strenght gains has to do with size gains.
how thick headed i am it took a while for me to buy into the last line u wrote,,really up until last few yrs ,,and now i've been doing some different things training wise and strenght for most part is same,the pumps,stamina,and overall build has changed dramatically ,,,esp delts i was old skool heavy laterals,presses and low reps ,,got to point nothing was happening ,,started less rest,some supersets,lighter hi rep side laterals,higher reps in general and viola popped delts best they ever looked,,i had to finally break down and say i'm training them wrong,,,
