That's the point though. Soccer is a soft, family sport played by virtually every member of a family from small children to senior adults both male and female....heck, I played soccer for years as a kid. And after each game we ate oranges and then enjoyed fun, family dinners or lunches with each other. Yet soccer is the most ultra-competitive, violence-provoking sport on planet Earth.
Still, for reasons unknown to me, y'all apparently support the stabbing of 1 man and the beheading and dismemberment of another man due to a penalty in a little footy match?

No, I don't support any of it...what I was alluding to is that
Kids play baseball, lacrosse,basketball, and football as well. They are just grasping at the fundamentals, like Che alluded to. Once you get into HS, then yo start building upon that base...and shit starts to get serious. Have you ever tried running around for 90+ minutes, drubbing a ball? Shear cardio right there. It's like how people talk about lax, which is like a cross between football (American), soccer (futbol) and hockey or jai alai.
Try being hit with a wet lax ball...that shit hurts and stings. And the action is fast paced.
Running is probably the "softest" sport...yet going fast is a true science, and only the elite grasp it.
