"Bodybuilder and gym owner Ed van Amsterdam is deceased. Ed is deceased at the age of 40 of a heart attack. The former agent was known as a professional bodybuilder. Already at the age of seventeen he began the sport in which he was getting better. He also began Ultimate Fitness gym in Amsterdam Molukkenstraat. Due to the death of Ed's Ultimate Fitness closed today"

Damn, didn't he try his hand at MMA or BJJ? I remember that he helped another bbing out Dorian or somebody in a scrap. Dude was kinda like a David Dearth type...RIP.

This is very sad.

RIP Mr. Van Amsterdam.. He was much too young to go and left behind a beautiful family.

The sad thing is, he's one of the guys who died for nothing (not even a plastic trophy). Never had the genetics to do anything remotely mentionable in the pro ranks.

The young guys who started out 3-4 years ago haven't even heared his name.
