Well, don't get me wrong, I still believe Silva's striking is light years ahead of Weidman's. Weidman just did what he was taught to do if he traded strikes with Anderson (keep defense up at all times, bring the fight to him by closing the distance and don't let him distract you with fakes).

I don't know. I have no clue about that.

I do know that Chris was walking away with less than 30K from this fight regardless of winning. That is what I heard at the academy from the same guys that coached him during camp.

Now is when Weidman will be able to negotiate a true contract and not get bullied by Dana and the Fertittas.

Only reason he got.dropped is because he was cocky and refused to defend

He did the superman hands on his hips more the 5 times in the fight

Silva didnt come to fight, if he did things could of ended in the first round in his favor
