That was mark before all the surgeries to repair his arm. Could be a different fight if they meet again.
Anyway we'll find out soon enough.

Watching the post fight conference. Dana doesn't look too happy that his posterboy lost pushing for an immediate rematch.

True. This time, though, his opponent had accurate hands and no height disadvantage. BTW, I think he was keeping his hands down because he was afraid of Weidman's takedowns. He ate some leather after being taken down in the first and was careful not to let it happen again. Anderson seemed to have passed up a couple opportunities to throw knees (one of his most effective techniques, usually) for the same reason.

When I got into fights in school as a teenager, I didn't know the importance of hitting someone square "on the button". I would aim for the face, but not specifically the chin. That's the button. That's the sweet spot that puts a man down, and it doesn't take a lot of power to do it. If I only knew then.

Naaaa.. Schoolyard fights were always in the soccer field, as the Principal would suspend anybody fighting directly within the school boundaries. We learned to take it off school property.
