Valid point,

I would never invest in Facebook, Twitter...etc, for the same exact reason why there's no myspace or bebo today....internet trends are unpredictable and once people turn their back, this one trick pony is gona get left behind and nothing will save it from drowning.

It's a big scam.  Facebook bought some small chinese app maker for $19 billion or something crazy like that.  Anyone with a brain knows that they are just funnelling money away to avoid tax hits.

But, as you mentioned, those companies have no intrinsic value attached to them.

facebook claims to have 1.2 billions legit users.  I have to laugh at that bullshit. I would guess the majority are gimmicks and spammers and a majority of the rest are people that just signed up because they had to for some app or coupon.  I have about a dozen accounts that I use to get bodybuilding.com coupons and other shit.

I still remember when they introduced facebook on the market. Biggest hype of peace. The shit immediately crashed, which was already expected by most experienced traders. Made quite a buck on short selling stocks that first week.

Facebook along with the rest of the new era of dotcom companies, are all house of cards. No value whatsoever other than what the market believes. Although, their REAL traded asset aren't made public (personal information about the users). So, in the case of a liquidisation it's likely that the information stored on the servers will be the high demand commodity every company wants to bid on.

Quick IPOs allow the major stock holders to funnel back some of their profits back into the company as fake revenue that they use to beat expectations and raise the stock price.  This continues happening to a certain point where they can no longer meet expectations then they funnel most of the money to offshore accounts , cash out at highs with shell companies and leave the average joe holding the bag.

She's doing great. Probably puked up all the mold thankfully, but I'm glad I took her in for observation.

A pic of her from last summer. I can't wait to start taking the dogs out for hikes. This winter was a long one.
