I can't grasp that. I was never more miserable than when I was a service manager sitting in an office all day.
I like to keep my hands busy, building shit, running it, and making shit.

I get to develop and test CNC machines, develop software for them, and test them all day long.  I would never go back to sitting in an office in a corporate cutthroat environment again.. unless I actually finish my engineering degree. Lol.

Sort of yeah.. Office job as in working for a big company.. A massive heirarchy of douchebags trying to get ahead.. No real power and dealing with politics all day makes you into a mindless robot just to get through the week..

You know I think the manual labor really is the happiest, not the one halos describing, but the lumberjack or the fisherman and so on.
