Immediately after Bush took office in 2001, there was a recession.  Was this Bush's fault?  No, it was Clinton's fault.  Clinton left Bush a huge mess.

Clinton made it possible for derivative swaps to get out of control.  When warned that this would soon destroy the economy, Clinton ignored the warnings.  Now Obama is doing the same.  Recessions are only going to get worse and more frequent.

Housing market booming? WHERE?

The current UE rate is higher than when Bush left office, 10 million people more on welfare and UE benefits than when Bush was in office. Less full time jobs, but more part-time jobs than when Bush was in office. The economy was never downgraded when Bush was in office. Cost of food and living expenses higher than when Bush was in office. Gasoline prices higher than when Bush left office. Obamacrapcare is such a bad legislation that Dems are afraid to implement it because when they do it will make premiums increase higher for businesses than if they would have left the system alone. And if businesses have to pay more for insurance, more people wmight get laid off and the "official" UE rate will be further away from the 5% UE rate that obama promised the stim bill would provide.

The GOP can die and it will die because most of America is made up of leeches, lib retards and economic idiots.

Over a trillion dollars in stimulus spending and 5 years later all that America has to show for it is a stockmarket bubble. Wait until the Fed has to stop printing and rates increase.  HEHEHEHE!

More people unemployed now than in 2008.

Majority of jobs created since the crisis are low wage, temp, retail and no benefit jobs.

Corporate earnings are being attained by cutting to the bone and on declining revenue.

The "Stock Market" lives and dies by the policies of the Federal Reserve. It really has no connection to the underlying, real economy, anymore.

This isn't a Left/Right thing, it's just a shitty thing.

As for the housing "boom,"  the %  increase is bid up by hedgefunds buying up mass properties, most of the starts are multi-domicile homes. Smoke and mirrors, you can flip and play the game but with mortgage applications collapsing....there isn't much underlying strength. For a real recovery to happen prices need to decline further so an average house can be had for a working families average salary. That wasn't allowed to happen and now that working families salary and income is a lower.
