Eminem does well. Over the years, 3rd Bass, House of Pain, Beastie Boys, Ill Bill, RA, The Rugged Man, AOTP/Vinnie Paz/Jedi Mind Tricks, and a few others have done well with blacks. Even Vanilla Ice at the start had a little heat, mostly on the strength of the "Under Pressure" beat till his back story came out.

Where whites usually aren't strong is with "club bangers", most just don't have a flow that lends itself to those type of songs. Especially a song like "Thrift Store" is way too white, it doesn't flow well in a urban club. Can you imagine going from something like "The Show" or a Eric B and Rakim, etc.... joint into that? You can do it with a "My Name Is" or a "Jump Around" but some stuff is just too soft and foreign.

Beastie boys are one of the best ever. And then there's eminem. I would say ice tea but he sort of sucks imo and was better off going into acting on law and order. Vanila ice was just a one hit wonder but did good to milk that one hit for all it's worth.

License to Ill got a lot of love, and Paul's Boutique got love, the later stuff not as much, but they were respected. A lot of the harder black dudes I know weren't actively searching for them, but if they came on they'd let them play and enjoy it.

There isn't many white rappers to begin with. So it's a non-issue.

Mudsharking, and interracial couples are rampant in North America, that is a legitimate concern.
