Cswölle"Ordered the white sauce pizza since it was recommended by a friend out in Hillcrest. When the pie came out it was an old but familiar smell that wafted off of the dough. Slightly nostalgic but I couldn't put my finger on it. When I asked him how he made the sauce, he only smiled and told me it was a secret.
Can't say I didn't see that one coming!"

Goodrem"A friend recommend this restaurant as a must eat during a recent trip to Whales Vagina (AKA San Diego). We're both foodies and love fusion and when he told me that this was the most unique eating experience considering their fusion of traditional Italian food with Chinese food, I realized that I've got to try a pie!
After careful consideration I decided to go with the Chinese fusion version of their Margarita pizza featuring Cream of Sum Yung Gi.
It oozed with a rich creamy white sauce and though slightly salty, the asparagus hint made it all worth while."

Tbaumz"I've heard nothing but great things about this place and was itching to get in and see what all the fuss was about! Now, the only bad part was that as soon as I walked in there was a small line of people waiting to be served. I took a seat on the nice black, leather couch Joe provides for his patrons in case of such an event (which I'm sure happens often!). He is so considerate.
Once I was seated, Joe came out to take my order, but...he seemed kind of, I don't know. Tense? I could see his brow sweating a bit, and looked a little on edge like he just needed to release something. I'm sure he was just eager to please this new customer! I made my order simple though: I humbly asked for his specialty meat-lover's pizza. I asked him if that came hand-tossed, and he gave me a smile and a wink. This guy knows what he's doing! The best part of the whole experience you ask? HE LITERALLY CAME out 10 minutes later with my pizza! Now that's some fast service! Joe looked happily relaxed and relieved when he saw the satisfaction all over my face!
I highly recommend Joe's place if you want to have a good time. But be sure to use plenty of napkins! The stuff is pretty saucy!"
