I don't think psychedelic's is anything to talk up and "push" on people the way some of these guys out there are doing to some extent...Joe Rogan has more followers than he deserves for this very reason...

Maybe DMT would make you quit weed like this guy?

His weed experiences are very similar to mine. I never touched weed till I was 30. And though I'm not a writer, I loooooooooooove writing and expressing myself on it. I can't be high 24/7 though. I did that the first couple years and I couldn't get anything done. I'll even go so far to admit that the mj is possibly irritating paranoias I have.

I stop periodically to refresh my receptors. I'd be up for some ayahuasca but I've read the last thing it is, is fun. It will change you forever and I'm afraid of how it would change me. If I stop weed, I'd rather stop cold turkey. I certainly don't have the relationship I used to have with it. It's certainly still important to me right now though.

Good post.  I smoke but I try to be responsible.  The difference might be that you and I both have other interests and are older.  I also have kids and I never smoke without my wife present and I never let my child see me doing it.  When she's older we will have a talk about it. For me it's like a drink after work.

I'd love to try DMT, at least once.  What do you think those elves are?  Demons?

I dont think DMT, Magic Mushrooms, Peyote, Ayahuasca etc will fuck with your health, on the contrary if used in a reverential manner.

But they can fuck up your mental health.

A trip can cause some change in you since the mind believes all these things are happening. Sometimes it can be good but it can cause mental trauma for some. Taking your mind for a ride....I wouldn't do it.

For some reason, I still have a shame issue with it. I don't brag to people (except here) that I smoke it. Only a handful of people I know, know I do it and even they are pretty shocked. Even though it's alot more accepted, I would never, EVER bring it around anyone under 18, to me I classify the social stigma a little worse that alcohol and kids today have enough problems without people pushing mj on them or having them be confused about this complex issue.

Like you, I treat it like a drink after work (work...lol). I couldn't tell you what those entities are, whatever they are, I believe they're real. Too many people of right mind see and interact with them. I don't think they're demons though...At least I hope to God they're not.

The social stigma is something I worry about and the reason I tell virtually no one.. The only people who know are my wife and my brother in-law.  No one would ever suspect I partake in the ganja.  I'm pretty luck because I have a medical Marijuana card and don't have to associate with lowlife drug dealers.

I've been curious about DMT for a while but like you I'm apprehensive because of the strength of the drug.  Marijuana, despite the negative reputation, is pretty benign.

so you belive in god, yet you belive in the dmt elves?

why would god allow you to see the elves? If he is god, why does eeverything else trump him? yet people still go running back to god knowing he is a epic failure?  is beliving in god a form of self destruction?

Alien, I'm going to post a video that a man whose knowledge far exceeds mine in this area. He's a brilliant, educated, well spoken, philosophical thinker.

He's one of my favorite people to read and listen to concerning this subject. It's 2 hours long but those who are non-believers will get a different viewpoint. Kind of hard to deny there is a God after listening to the way he breaks it down.

Serious question: how do you justify your steroid use in the eyes of God?

Weed is not bad at all.  I'm curious about DMT and like to hear more about it.  Lets not turn this into a religious debate.

Herb is harmless compared to other substances out there, yes. If you're interested in hearing people's experiences with DMT check out the erowid site. There's trip reports there on every substance known to mankind.

Serious question: how do you justify your steroid use in the eyes of God?

I'll put it like this, every man breaks laws. Whether you break the speed limit laws or you commit murder. It's against man's law. Every man will agree that man's law is flawed but in general, most of us follow the laws especially the ones regarding life and physical harm because in our eyes they are most heinous. But then you have laws like Jay walking or speed limit or not putting things around your rear view mirror that everyone breaks with no regard. The bottom line is, you're breaking the law. So it means you're at the mercy of those enforcing the laws. Btw this includes everyone that has ever smokes mj since it's been illegal and we know this includes many presidents. So in conclusion, no one follows all the laws, all the time. \

Which means, we all have a scale and my scale includes my religion, morals, environment, how I was raised and what my inner me tells me. My inner me tells me that the government trying to moralize anything, when they run the drug trade, kill innocent people and people that have no had a trial, DAILY, all around the world, is one of the if not now, the most corrupt government on the planet, is like Charles manson preaching the Bible, the message may be true, but look at the messenger.

For what my goals are long term and short, and because of my genetics, I don't have to go crazy and as still look great. So I see it as it should be. A supplement to take you beyond your natural genetic limits that when used responsibly even over a long term you will see significant beneficial results. But because of human nature of more is better and because twinks that try to make up by taking a shitload, it becomes vilified.

I think if I were abusing like guys on today's Olympia level with everything they do, God would not see that as a good thing. I'd say he was cool up and stopped being cool with it after Lee Haney.  ;)

Wiggs, that's good to read because I'm the exact same.  Embarrassing for some reason even though it shouldn't be.

Yeah man, I would never talk about it in public the way I do here. People are too judgemental based on false information.

People with schizophrenia are believed to have more natural DMT is their pineal gland...Wouldn't it suck if you were at risk for schizophrenia and taking DMT actually triggered it to happen? I have a feeling that all these guys who like to get in front of a mic and talk about using DMT are in fact Schizophrenics who would never tell you that. Not unlike all these pro bodybuilders abusing insulin and HGH only to mask the fact that they just triggered onset diabetes...
