IMO, people are starting to tire of these superhero movies.

Green Lantern... horrible.
Batman 3... oh-hum.
Spiderman re-boot... yawn.
IM2 and IM3... yawn.
Superman re-boot... another yawn.
Wolverine... who cares.

The CGI stuff doesn't really impress people anymore.

The Avengers worked well because of the cast, it was well written and fun.

One of the problems is over saturation, for the last several summers we've had nothing but superhero films. The concept is starting to become stale. Movie studios don't care, they will continue to pump them out until they don't make anymore money.

yep. no such thing as caring about the 'legacy' of a movie or character or series. it's all about the money.

superman/batman is very stupid. but a lot of stupid ideas are made into stupid movies for stupid people.

look at the Super/Batman animated movie...that was pretty good. The animated movies are better because you do more stuff with them and delve deeper into the plot/character.

batman is a crazy sad guy with an agenda that uses technology and wit to stop bad guys.

COMPLETELY different. I mean, batman will be a shitty sidekick, trying to drive thru traffic in batmobile while superman can fly 1000 mph. Makes no sense to me. Spiderman and batman... that that'd be awesome. OR Superman fighting a planet of zombie, that'd be totally badass. But this movie sounds weird.

Superman is the muscle while Batman is the brain. That's all. Plus, it's a pretext to put the Joker into the movie.

With "prep-time", even Batman can defeat Superman, he knows it, and the whole Justice League knows it.

It was him who came up with all the methods to defeat JL after all.

Cavill is taller by an inch. They can make him seem bigger though.

Maybe since Nolan is part of the project that the next movie will be in line with The Dark Knight Rises. Joseph Gordon-Levitt could make sense in that cape.

This is actually the best interaction between them i've seen. Superman stepping on his toes. There's no way you can power up Batman to any relevance in Superman's universe in a live action movie.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a pencil neck. He would need to gain 30lbs of muscle to play the role.

He will play Robin and Bale will come back.

If they try to cast some "up and comer" or the flashy guy of the day to be Batman, this can turn out to be shit like the Val Kilmer or George Clooney Batmen of old. The casting of a new guy is critical.

Who would you guys like to see cast as Batman if Bale refuses to do it??

He can play that playboy role, put him on the sauce and give him some size. Would be badass. The guy can act.

He's damn good in 6 Souls if you haven't seen it.

I can live with him as the next Batman. That's an ace pick by Nolan and company if they were to go with him.
