First off, you have a certain perception about how a successful forum should look like, yes you.
Most of us don't want a heavy moderated board with attention whoring pros, but that doesn't mean that everything is allowed. We have pretty good mods here, like Ron, OMR and others, but they're not dictating this place.
Regarding those other categories of people; judges, insiders, experts, etc, we have plenty of them, but you will find most of their posts on other sections than the G&O section.

Just to give you an example that Getbig isn't a playground as a whole, read this thread http://www.getbig.com/boards/index.php?topic=447319.0;topicseen

The mods, add times, will ignore overtly racist, pornographic and threatening posts yet will put someone in time out for using foul language -just doesn't make sense?

Regardless, this place has lost some amazing personalities and identities over the years.  They have left this place because the moderating let them down.  And yes, they went to MD and BB.com -our loss and their gain.  And as reported many will say that Pros management will clearly tell them NOT to go to Getbig...now that is saying something about this place...i don't think that can argued, freedom of speech does have a price.

I'm not sure I could stomach the typical "pro" drivel about how genetics hardwork and eating right are the keys to their success.  Of course neglecting to mention the gram of test a week and the various other drugs they take.  They can't survive here spewing that crap because the average getbigger can see right thought that bullshit.

The pros can't post here if they have contracts with the IFBB or MD. Even that patsy Bob Chick stopped posting. So it isn't the fault of the moderators although, collectively, they do control the direction of the place.

A moderator's role is to moderate ffs.  In a sense it is a form of protection from attacks of racism, bigotry, bullying and the like.  Furthermore, the moderator in essence protects the poster and the integrity of the posting environment- without consistent moderation you have forum anarchy.

You are a defender of the status quo. I believe this place has not even begun to scratch the surface of its potential.

You choose for this place to languish in mediocrity, hatred and loathing.  I see a place with untapped potential. I dream that the Pros will one day feel welcome here once again.

I remember the getbig of old.  It was a dynamic, original and vibrant place, full vigor and vitriol.  Now i have to endure a place embedded in hatred and childish banter.

I know you will never agree with a getbig that offers diversity.  But i will never give up on this place.  And just for the record, i know that Ron is totally on board with my vision of rescuing the Pros from  the monocultures of MD  and BB.
