Primemuscle my grandfather is 75 years old and he barely walks. Most of us will be lucky to live to your age. The very fact that you workout is impressive.

Was I whining? Didn't realize this. Didn't mean to.

If I really wanted to try and look like that fellow, dieting is in order, so you'd be right.

I eat well and fairly clean, but it is hardly a weight loss diet. After more then a year of licking my wounds and doing almost nothing else, I am clearly out of shape for me. I have been back working out now for about 8 weeks. I am not expecting miracles, but I am making improvements. I think I will be good if I just stick to what I am doing. I probably won't look like Mr. shoe polish mustache anytime soon, but it's all good anyway.

Thanks for the advice.

Look - for your age you have a good base of muscle - if you dieted and really cut back - you could look way better, no homo.  Not like the guy in the photo - but WWWAAAYYYY better if that is what you want

To be fair, it takes more than dieting and really cutting back to look like the guy in the first page photo. A visit to the local GNC would be in order to pick up meal-replacement shakes and some sort of multi-vitamin. *wink*

Do you use drugs - I'm not sure what your goal body is but you seem to be highly conscious of your looks so the Stallone route is your only option.

guys got great lines and structure. that's god given. not taking anything away from him as I said he looks great.

but like groink I wouldn't want to look like that. I'd have prolly added a good 10-15 pounds of lean onto the arms chest back and shoulders and kept my waist tight. now your talking IMPRESSIVE.
