Well - the place in question ain't a petting zoo.
It's a farm/zoo - heavy on the farm...
You can:
- hatch a baby croc
- walk along the elevated pathways above the croc enclosures
- feed the crocs chicken carcasses by hanging them over the barrier on a long stick and line
- watch them in the crocodile show
- eat crocodile satay and crocodile soup
- buy a croc skin handbag/pair of boots
Not so much 'cradle to grave' as 'cradle to wardrobe'.
They get a few suicides there a year, mostly broken hearted Thai women who end it all by throwing themselves into the croc enclosure.
The fences in those places aren't really that high, so it's easy enough to get in. It's also interesting when you get major flooding in these croc farms because the flood water has been known to go higher than the fences. There's good reward money in finding an escaped crocodile. It'd be cool if they counted the crocs too - then they'd know when they got them all back...
