I was rooting for him as he is a nice person, but why he would put that shit in his arms is beyond me. It looks horrible and theres no excuse for that. If you dont have it just leave it. Or at very least if your gonna do that dont make it so noticeable and horrid looking

I noticed. That NPC pic was taken 2 sec. before Hanshaw supinated his bis by turning his pinkie fingers towards his ears. I have trained next to Hanshaw here in AZ. Those arms are fine. My good friend Troy Alves gets the same cries of oil oil oil. Troy had 19" arms in high school. Hanshaw has that blocky Branch Warren physique, Troy has the Serge Nubret wasp waist X frame. Its how you choose your parents. Hanshaw does need that Lipoma removed from his belly. One year I had 7 zapped.

I respect the thousands of hours it takes to reach these levels in our sport. I also respect the fans as they too have opinions.

Honestly I almost prefer watching some of the "natural" comps better nowadays....at least there's an inkling of aesthetic quality to some of the physiques.

Agreed. I always liked Dusty, the man. He is friendly, cool and never seemed to take himself all that seriously. Physique aside, his personality type is what I wish more bodybuilders aspired to. Instead, the loud-mouth, arrogant Flex "what's up boys and girls, I'm so special" Wheeler persona seems part and parcel of many an upcoming meathead.

But those arms ... Gott damn. He looks fucking terrible. Even Kamali on some of his worst days looked better than that.

Nothing about Troy ever screams oil (and, with all respect, I sincerely doubt someone with his light frame had 19" arms as a teen unless he was VERY fat. He looks awesome onstage but still, all these years later, doesn't appear to have 19" arms when he's in shape). Dusty?

Even if that was a couple of seconds before he hit the shot, again, I'm sorry: the bizarre fullness and utter lack of detail in his right arm alone tells the whole story.

Maybe he overdid site injections and didn't resort to oil -- I dunno. But it still looks funky, and that's the bottom line.

No they are injected and poorly I might add. There is not enuff supination left for him to completely flex that arm so the lower bicep peaks, especially the left one. By all accounts Dusty is a good guy, but he needs to hang it up. His waist looks horrible and his chest looks very flat and his gyno is showing pretty good in some of those pics. Years of doing the wrong things has finally caught up to him.
