The Uberman Hypothesis (coined eponymously for renowned preacher and evolutionary biologist, Uberman) states that in the not-too-distant future, there will be a swell of violence across the globe as competition for scarce resources increases.

What Uberman didn't know is that his claim may be fulfilled merely as a function of the weather! The developing nations have the worst of it: the real estate they inhabit is supposed to experience the most increase in mean heat, including a 4σ increase in many parts of Africa and, perhaps most ominously of all, in India (seriously overpopulated and armed with nukes). If the above correlations are correct, then, all things being equal, we may see a 16% increase in interpersonal violence and 56% increase in intergroup conflict in many parts of the globe over the next half century.

The research doesn't correlate warm climate regions with violence; it does indicate that "across all major regions of the world," above average temperature and/or severe rainfall are significantly correlated with violence (to the tune of a 1σ increase above the mean in temperature equating to 4% and 14% more interpersonal and intergroup violence, respectively).
