The trick is not to think of it as a bodybuilding board, but as a lifestyle / general board with some bodybuilding thrown in. And it's not just the posters's fault that it's gotten this way. Bodybuilding has gotten extremely boring the last decade or so, no personality in the hobby, no funny beefs and only the occasional funny scandal.
There's only so mush history, training, and steroid talk one can do before that becomes old hat too.
I lurk a lot of fitness forums, and all the fitness forums have mellowed like this one. The ones that are still very active are filled with fanboy garbage or very basic questions.
