Nope, it's sold as Andriol.  Due to the ester length its fat soluble, and suspended in oil, so it gets absorbed through the lymphatic system.  Doesn't go through hepatic portal vein, so no need for methylation.

That being said, the bioavailability is still low.  I don't even know if it's still used these days... seems like all you ever hear is transdermals/injectables, maybe because people don't like swallowing 6 horse pills everyday
