Ahead of us in what? Certainly not technology and quality of care. Even some Canadian government officials in the past have sought medical care in the USA. I wonder why that is? Maybe is because in the USA no one has to wait 3 to 4 months for an MRI. Maybe is because in the USA no one has to wait 6 months for an operation. Maybe is because we still have on average very good doctors and not the mediocrity that barely passed medical school and survived residency by the skin of their teeth.

Oh, but don't worry. This country is well on its way to having many doctors leave the profession and having very poor quality of care due to Obamacrapcare. We will be in the same level or even worse compared to Canada. Yeah. Can't wait.

Yeah, Canadian government officials come here for elective surgery.  So what?  My cousin tore his bicep in Toronto and had it reattached in less than 10 days.  I'm going to assume that included an MRI.  Unless they did the surgery and 3-4 months later did the MRI as you implied.  You need to do better than regurgitate urban legend or flat out bullshit.

Yeah, the doctors who make a couple million dollars in the US are going to leave the US to practice or get out of the field all together.  Almost too stupid to respond to, but I can't resist.  Tell me moron, where are they going to go?  Canada?  Mexico?  Europe?  Russia?  Asia?  Or LMFAO the middle east?  I can see my fathers heart surgeon, Dr. Abdullah Sultani packing his bags and going back to Syria because Obamacare will make Syria the more appealing choice.  Need I go on?  Come at me brah!  LOL.

Complete and utter bullshit by an idiot that is spouting talking points with absolutely ZERO idea of what the health care field is like.

i have at least 30 relatives, all ages, who are Canadian citizens.  i have talked with them about their health care.  they are very happy with it.

Yes, it does take too long to do some things done and in fact sometimes they have to schedule MRI's at 3am.  but the bottom line is, everyone gets it.

But they have outrageous taxes on all levels.

We have outrageous health care costs.

and there is no way in hell you can say this turd call Obamacare is anything but a turd.  The costs for health care are NOT going down.

Its a fucking ass raping and OB sold us out.

If they go down, i will have no problem admitting i was wrong.  But unless they do, the ass raping will continue and you parrots will continue to suck  two party cock and sing about it.

I expect that over the course of the next few years, prices will go down.  I hope your not implying that prices/premiums just started rising during the Obama administration?  I can tell you from my experience that my first noticeably hike came between the birth of my two children.  That was from 2004-2006.  It almost doubled from 2004 to 2006.  It has risen each and every year since then, but in much, much smaller increments.

It is better.  Even if these bits and pieces are the only changes, they alone make it better.

Oh yeah, it is better.

UPS to drop 15,000 spouses from insurance, cites Obamacare
EnlargeAndrew Harrer / Bloomberg
A United Parcel Service Inc. (UPS) employee scans a package while making a delivery.

United Parcel Service Inc. plans to remove thousands of spouses from its medical plan because they are eligible for coverage elsewhere. The Atlanta-based logistics company points to the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare, as a big reason for the decision, reports Kaiser Health News.

The decision comes as many analysts are downplaying the Affordable Care Act's effect on companies such as UPS, noting that the move reflects a long-term trend of shrinking corporate medical benefits, Kaiser Health News reports. But UPS repeatedly cites Obamacare to explain the decision, adding fuel to the debate over whether it erodes traditional employer coverage, Kaiser says.

Rising medical costs, “combined with the costs associated with the Affordable Care Act, have made it increasingly difficult to continue providing the same level of health care benefits to our employees at an affordable cost,” UPS said in a memo to employees.

According to Kaiser, UPS told white-collar workers two months ago that 15,000 working spouses eligible for coverage by their own employers would be excluded from the UPS plan in 2014.

UPS expects the move, which applies to non-union U.S. workers only, to save about $60 million a year, company spokesman Andy McGowan said.

The health law requires large employers to cover employees and dependent children, but not spouses or domestic partners, Kaiser adds.

Kaiser said the Obama administration would not respond directly to UPS' statements, but said that employer coverage increased when Massachusetts implemented its own version of the health overhaul.

"The health care law will make health insurance more affordable, strengthen small businesses and make it easier for employers to provide coverage to their workers," said Joanne Peters, spokeswoman for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

For those that didnt get healthcare before but does with universal healthcare it goes up by, well 100% actually.

Compared to private healthcare for instance(private hospital etc) the level of care is obviously lower.

there is so much stupid in this post i can't even find a place to begin a rebuttal.  basically because there are some things paid for by the taxpayers then the entire private sector should be wiped out of existence?  because the private sector has given us nothing right?  i'm sorry but this is the most idiotic, most vapid post i've seen on this board.......ever.  may god have mercy on your soul.

thats because it doesn't fit your opinion.....but the post is 100% factual.....can you dispute that you dumbass????

The fact of the matter is that everything we use in society is paid for by others.

In your case, and that of your community you're absulutly correct.  Others do pay for everything you (and your people) use in society.

The rest of us do pay taxes though.  I pay for the public services I use and then some.  I've paid for my share of the park, roads, police, etc. as well as yours (and your baby mama, and all her children).
