funny how the libtard lefties wanted to crucify Christie for using a helicopter to attend his sons baseball game but seem to have no issue at all with this...

Commentary about whether Obama should go on vacation aside, I very much doubt that the cost of transporting the dog was even a cent. It's not like they booked a special flight that would not have otherwise been made.

That said, it's becoming slightly ridiculous. The amount of money moving the President takes is just insane; almost as insane as is the inconvenience that locals have to deal with because of road closures, cell tower outages and other ridiculous security measures.
there you go, applying logic. did anyone mention the other staffers on board?

If we were truly applying logic we'd be talking about the appearance aspect of taking your dog on a private helicopter to vacation with you in a multimillion dollar home during the "worst economic crisis since the Great Depression."

But we're not really applying logic.

Nonsense. Just because we aren't focusing on every topic doesn't mean we can't focus on one particular topic.

But since you're whining and being cranky, let's play a bit and see if we can wear you out and get you to nap a bit, shall we?

Why do you begrudge Obama's travel arrangements – arrangements that are almost certainly not made by him, but by aides who follow protocol? Should the President just load up his family in a station wagon and drive to his vacation? Should he be without Secret Service protection since he's on vacation? Should the Secret Service break the law and refuse to travel with the President because he's going on a spendy vacation?

and, one more thing... Do you have any specific proposals to reduce the traveling budget of the President? Or are you just cranky and whining?

Now, arguably, the traveling expenses of the Presidency are through the roof, but that's nothing new. Do you have a solution to offer or are you just crying because its late and you're tired and cranky?

Now, is going on vacation tone deaf given the economic environment? It sure is, but then again, when's the last time we had a President who wasn't tone deaf? I can't remember. Can you?

And let's not forget that plenty of other politicians are doing all sort of things and living quite extravagant lives at taxpayer expense. It's not just the President. The problem is more general. Are you equally outraged about their shenanigans?

Ready for bed yet?

we're much better off now than when he took office but I'm not quite sure I understand your point of view

you're saying if the economy is good then it's ok to take the dog on vacation (no doubt for his kids).   Is there some chart of the relationship to unemployment or GDP that correlates with what kind of pet he can take on vacation.   Maybe take the cat only when UE is less 6% otherwise your only acceptable options are the paraquet or maybe a box turtle ?

economy should be much much better than it is now, it has been constantly hindered by this admins policies and constant ddemagoguing/politicizing of issues

the economy is where it is today inspite of him, not because of him

if anything is hindering the economy it's the do nothing Repubs in Congress and the obstructionist Repubs in the Senate

The economy is improving in spite of their attempt to make it worse in order to harm Obama and the Dems (party before country)

Aww, baby needs more play... too much sugar today, methinks.

This... And more than just obstructionist, both sides are being completely unreasonable and play far, far away from the center around which most Americans hover politically, at least from an economic standpoint.

Well I did just eat two dark chocolate covered brownies from Big Island Candies (a gift).  So yes, lots of sugar today.   :)

Sinful.  And 380 calories.  But I did run 8 miles this morning, so I have a few calories in my bank.   :)  Donating the rest of the box to my office.

no they are NOT you moron

Why would Dems obstruct themselves

Go look at the stats for the fillibuster since Obama was elected

I love how whenever Repubs on this board are challenged with their party being stupid, their party being obstructionist they always revert to a false equivalency and try to pretend that both parties are equal

btw - who said Obamacare was supposed to "stimulate" the economy.

so it was designed to hinder the economy in one of the worst economic downturns in history?

and you still argued for it? you still dont want to see it dismantled?

Bifurcation - "stimulate" and "hinder" aren't the only two options here. Not that I think that the "Affordable Care Act" has a positive effect on the economy.

agreed but then again I never said it was meant to stimulate or hinder...Strawtard responded that it wasnt meant to stimulate the economy in response to me pointing out it has extremely hindered it

Obama is on vacation WHY?

Between the foregin policies disasters, the scandals, the debt/budget mess, obamacare issues, etc - does this fool really need to be on vacation golfing?
