If you don't know what you're buying (having done research) prior to walking into a supplement store, you'll get fleeced every time.

As a precaution, I would advise you to also jerk off, just before the visit - as you are susceptible to posteriors, clouding your judgement.

Me, I'd be thinking, does this person train enough people to have witnessed a quantifiable increase in worth of this product?

I buy maybe 100/200 bucks worth of stuff per year and its a 5 min drive......if there is a Gods send of protein shakes would like to know what that is.

You don't need as much as they want you to think.

I buy a 5lb bag of Pure Protein at Costco and it lasts me forever.

you can buy expensive proteins that taste like a milkshake, but I really don't give a crap, I just chug it down and go on my way. As long as it isn't repugnant who cares....I'm not trying to savor the flavor of a protein drink.

also check the label on these products..a lot of companies now add "anabolic matrixes" and bullshit like that...and put creatine in your protein. creatine makes you hold water

tip for anyone looking to make their shake better without wanting to add many calories.

mix choc protein powder with coconut water. taste fucken great and gives it a better texture then just mixed with water.

I use the vita coco brand water. good shit. helps with cramps too.

CytoSport 100% Whey 6lb bag from costco is my brand of choice but any chocolate whey will do.

Yup, as long as it isn't some bullshit off-brand I never heard of, it's fine.

I buy the mid price one. not the garbage, and not the expensive overpriced one.

GNC Amplified blend is comparable to Optimum Nutrition performance whey but more expensive.

I suggest getting Optimum Nutrition 100% Gold whey protein.

That's my go too as well, but if you go to deal sites like slickdeals.net, you can find a better price every other month or so.

interesting.....I eat boiled eggs cut in half topped with red caviar, tuna & eggs with a little mayo usually for lunch add a cucumber tomato onion topped with olive oil salad....I eat twice when normal workouts and once a day when I cut....
