Ive actually been that dude... although she wasnt holding me back. I was drunk as shit and someone called my friends fiance a whore and a bitch because she wouldnt jump in their car and go party with them, I evidently yelled something back calling them retarded homosexuals or some shit, and they got out of the car and proceeded to talk a bunch of shit.
I just remember standing there staring at them, she told me later I lierally didnt say a word, I just stood there tight lipped kinda wound up, cheek and fists clenching and unclenching.. she said that my adrenaline was pumping so hard that it took her several time of literally yelling at me in my face before she got my attention, and she got me to come inside by pointing out that there were cops sitting across the road waiting for something to happen. Evidently after I walked inside, they tried to follow me in and wound up picking a fight with one of our friends, and the cops sure as shit arrested them for assault and DUI (the cops breathalyzied them and hit them for being in the car prior to the altercation).
to add insult to injury, the friend that they picked the fight with was a skinny twig and knocked the loud mouth out with one swing. The cops didnt charge my buddy because they saw the 2 guys trying to chase me inside after she talked me down.
needless to say, im rather glad she got in my way. I dont have assault on my record and I didnt go to jail.
