Manning is 9-11 in the post season, shouldn't even be mentioned in same breath as Brady. That record with welker not catching a Brady pass that hit him in the face mask that would of clinched Brady's 4th SB = a team to bet on all year till playoff time...

3 SB won all by less than 4 pts per game when NE had the advantage of taping the other team's walkthroughs. None since.

And the pas to Welker didn't need to be thrown that high.

Funny but the few years the jets made some noise they beat the Pats. GOOD teams beat them that's why they haven't won one in a decade.

Are you just making stuff up? He didn't hit him in the face. Watch it again. He threw it high over the outside shoulder and Welker had to twist and jump.

Moss didn't quit running either. Watch it again.

The Patriots lost the both SB because the Giants D beat the shit out of Brady and Eli Manning was incredible when he needed to be.

And, to Groink's point - the AFC East has sucked shit for a decade.

When Brady has his 4 seconds, he's light out. When pressured, the same as everyone else.

imo thats more on brady than welker. all day.

thats a tough grab even for the most skilled receiver- the pass was supposed to have been over the left shoulder as its closest to the sideline and hardest to defend. welker had to track the ball- this is tough enough when running downfield looking over your shoulder- realise its over the wrong shoulder, makes adjustments to switch sides of the body WHILE going up in the air to get it.

thats on brady. welker did everything he could to bring that ball down. 99% of the time 'if it touches your fingers its a catchable ball' this is the other 1%. the ball simply was thrown to the wrong side of his body.

it's not the player they line up in the slot that makes the difference it's the system he plays in.

you can plug any player into any position on that team and they will function soundly due to the strength of belicheks system. why do you think they go so deep every post season when at the start of the year on paper they look like a 9-7 team at best. it's not the players (apart from Brady) it's the system they function within
