I love Battlefield, but its nothing like reality. Anyone that says so is full of shit. (Not that I am not a combat vet, but I know a lot of people that are. Even training was nothing like BF or CoD, and my friends that have experienced combat said that anyone comparing these games to reality are fucking toolbags.)
