I admire cars ocassionally. I am hard pressed to understand people who are obsessed with them. They imprinted your mind so efficiently that you view cars as a status symbol or a symbol for power and masculinity and so forth..not to mention that everyone thinks it is normal that a car would cost a hundred thousand or several hundred. What a sad society
This is about the name of the car...and the lack of I guess one could say imagination.
But, if you are about the car itself, take a look at the specs... and then take a look at the BMW i3 and i8, where you are seeing is a revolution in terms of tech and what we will be driving in the future. What you are seeing is "evolution" of the car
By the way, before there were cars, the main transportation were horses, as you are well aware. Horses that were bred for different activities.
there were Draft horses..which are the largest horses..they did the heavy pulling--the tractors and freight trucks of their day.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft_horseThen there were the thoroughbreds, a breed of the horses---todays version of sports cars. these horses cost a lot of money, just like sports or race cars do.
And so on, like Quarterhorses and what not. Each having specific functions, and each having somewhat a cooresponding cost---with the thoroughbreds tending to cost more, due to their upkeep.
