Actually no. Gun ownership in this country is so high that there would be a gun behind every blade of grass. The state of Wisconsin's hunters make them the 8th largest army in the world. That's not counting gun owners in that rural state alone. I won't even bring up Texas where kids are brought up to shoot as soon as they can walk. If we ever truly released the power of our military without regard for collateral damage the way we did in World War II China wouldn't stand a chance. Don't forget China's economic power comes mainly from selling stuff to the United States. That could be changed very quickly.

The U.S is a great country. Clean, lot of open space, affordable lifestyle. Of course it used to be a much better country but is heading in the wrong direction. The deficits are too big to ever pay off. The standard of living is headed in the wrong direction. Gun violence is up, and the middle class is disappearing. Too many people in the U.S. feel entitled for things they don't want to work hard for.
