Jessie has always suspected it, but now he is convinced of it and when he went to Saul just now, Saul confessed, so now he knows!

Saul admitted it after the fact, but what exactly was the "ah moment" that caused Jesse to freak out at the drop off point?

he found the pack of smokes.  I think ricin was gone from it.  it was in the hoodie he packed for trip that he hadn't looked in.  He knew it was planted, he knew that meant walt posioned the kid, i think?

But wasn't Jesse present at the hospital when the Doctor said it wasn't ricin, but Lily of the Valley that poisoned Brock?

Jessie didn't realize that walt used ricin to poison him.... he just realized that he was being played.....

There wasn't really an Aha moment, Jessie always suspected it... I think him telling walt in the desert to "stop jerking me around" was a nod to the fact.... then as he waited for the guy to get him and change his identity it wasn't so much an "Aha" moment as it was... "fuck this issue has been bothering me for a long time I'm gonna get to the bottom of it and find out once and for all what happened" and thats when he went all roid rage in Saul's office to find out the truth!

http://breakingbad.wikia.com/wiki/Ricin

The first time Walt created ricin it was intended to kill Tuco Salamanca. Walt carried a packet of meth mixed with the poison hoping that Tuco would snort it. The ricin made the meth stink like head cheese, which raised Tuco's suspicion about its quality. Jesse Pinkman said it was a new recipe with his old secret ingredient: chili powder. Unfortunately they learned that Tuco hated chili powder and tossed the packet aside.
Next they tried to get him to eat it. Walt sprinkled the packet into Tuco's food, however Hector "Tio" Salamanca saw what he did and rang his bell to prevent Tuco from eating. Misinterpreting Hector's warning, Tuco simply traded plates with him. Hector knocked the plate onto the floor instead of eating the poisoned food, thus dispensing with the ricin.

For Gus
Season 4

Ricin hidden in the cigarette that's turned around
The second time Walt created ricin it was intended to kill Gustavo Fring. He created a small vial of it in Gus's own superlab, supposedly out of sight, and secretly passed it to Jesse, who concealed it in one of his cigarettes. At the time, however, Jesse was distancing himself from Walt and growing closer to Gus, and thus he never administered it even when he had the opportunity.
Later, Andrea Cantillo's son Brock Cantillo fell severely ill from some unknown cause and Jesse found that his ricin-vial cigarette was missing. He told Andrea to warn Brock's doctors about the possible poisoning. Because only he and Walt knew about the ricin, Jesse suspected that Walt poisoned Brock; however, Walt convinces him that it was Gus who poisoned Brock. ("End Times") Although initially in danger of dying, doctors say that he would survive, and tests showed that it was not ricin; instead, he ingested the berries of a local poisonous plant called the "Lily of the Valley". At the very end of the episode, the camera zooms in on a Lily of the Valley in Walt's back yard, beside his pool. ("Face Off")

Season 5
Saul Goodman returned the ricin cigarette to Walt, stating his wonder that Huell didn't break it when he lifted it from Jesse. ("Live Free or Die") Walt hid the ricin capsule behind an electrical outlet in his bedroom and made a false capsule with salt. He hid the fake capsule in a cigarette and planted it in Jesse's Roomba to put Jesse's mind at ease. ("Madrigal") Walt later took the ricin to a meeting with Lydia Rodarte-Quayle with intentions to kill her, though didn't because she proved to be useful, by offering expansion of Walt's empire into the Czech Republic. ("Gliding Over All")
In 2010, Walt heads back to his house, now abandoned, and retreives the ricin from behind the electrical outlet. ("Blood Money") While Jesse was waiting to start a new life in Alaska he put the pieces together that Walt had Saul have Huell lift the ricin cigarette. Jesse confronted Saul, took his gun and Saul confessed. Jesse then stole Saul's car to go after Walt. ("Confessions")

I want to believe he is ready to play but I have this nightmarish feeling that he is gonna get out there during the first game, get hit once and his leg will just snap right off!

UGh hope that doesn't happen!

But hey - my buddy who was on the Varsity squad with me in High school, Tanard Jackson, should be starting on defense that first game!  ;D

I don't know, that scene at the drop off point where he was freaking out over the cigarette pack seemed like an "aha" moment to me.  Why would Jesse suspect that Saul would be in on it?  It's one thing to suspect Walt is jerking him around, but what made him feel like going to Saul would get to the truth of the matter?

Because the first time he suspected it, he speculated the same exact thing..... that the big fat guy (Hugh?) stole the ricin cigarette when he frisked him (which is exactly what happened).

He knew the act was done at saul's office at the order of Walt.  He brought it up back then, and he brought it up now.

Plus he probably knew Walt would jerk him around some more, and give him some bullshit, whereas saul when scared would probably cave!

I just re-watched the episode in order to make sense of things.  I believe I got it now.  I believe what happened at the drop off location was that Jesse was getting anxious (biting his nails) and decided to fire up a joint.  He stuck his hands in his pocket looking for his bag of dope and realized it was gone.  Jesse realizes that his dope was stolen earlier at Saul's office, where he had last seen it and put it in his pocket.  In fact, If you go back earlier to the office scene you'll see Huell take the dope from Jesse's pocket as Jesse is squeezing past Huell to leave the office.  Anyway, Jesse comes to the realization that if Huell is sneaky enough to steal a bag of dope from right under his eyes, he is likely capable of stealing a ricin cigarette as well.  That was the "aha" moment that led Jesse to run back and confront Saul to find out if his suspicions were true.  Hearing Saul's confession, Jesse realizes Walt has been in on it as he initially suspected, and then heads off to Walts home.

Thats exactly it. What a crazy episode. Ties in to the beginning of this seasons first episode where Walt walks around his abandoned home and finds the ricin behind the electrical plug cover. The foreshadowing going on there looked very ominous.

Great pick up.....  I just watched that part in the office again, and saw Huell jack the weed from Jessie's pocket.....  Totally missed that!!!!!!!  Cause Huell does it sooooooooooooooooo fast.

I guess there was an aha moment after all....  Jessie realized his weed is stolen, just like the cigarette was stolen.

Smooth Huell!

this is correct. jesse remembered that it went missing before, and walt had told him that gus had to have taken it somehow. but he realized that it was huell, meaning saul, meaning walt. hence the freakout.

when the kid was poisoned, he was led to believe that the ricin cigarette was what did it and walt convinced him that gus had stolen it off of him somehow. when he realized that huell had lifted the dope out of his pocket, he realized that huell was the one who stole the ricin cigarette before and that meant walt was the one who had poisoned brock.
