I thought this was all a joke.  Something that people talk about in a clowning manner like zombies.  I never bothered reading any of these threads.  Then I saw page after page of A-list celebrities doing that stupid circle eye gesture.  Now I'll be looking at things with a more skeptical eye.

MTV is very smart.  they pumped her full of talk about "you're the new madonna, this is going to be amazing".

They have 30+ years of market research that said it would be a horrible flop.  They WANTED this to happen lol.  Cause a stellar, beautiful performance of adele with ray charles gets a few headlines.  THIS monstrosity gets front page coverage for 3-4 days straight. 

MTV knew exactly this woudl happen :)
