This isn't coming from me. Seen this on another forum concerning Denise:

heard a lot of things about denise...all bits n' pieces; nothing concrete and complete.

- heard denise is or might be bipolar...hence the root cause of her seemingly erratic behavior

- heard she did not handle not winning the 1993 ms. olympia went on a party-drug binge, which included an incident where she demolished a rest room, the cops appear and she almost takes them out with just her bare hands (again it's what i've read)

- heard one of the black inner city kids she was mentoring/taking care of got killed...sending denise into deep depression

- heard she got married and joined a traveling religious group/church

- heard she went to live with her mom for awhile

just romors and gossip, nothing verifiable so far as in being in a magazine, or news story...whatever is the case let us all pray for her ...she is truly a loving and giving person as she did care for a number of poor black inner city youth for a time...even to the point of financially giving them some aid, taking them to bodybuilding events, theme parks, etc.

if there was some kind of way to help denise out financially maybe those of us who are willing would do so

No crack Denise was a meth head, same poison as Mentzer well before the glass dick epidemic that swept the country, it could be her,I hope not, she always looked better in photos, wild girl. Total addict from the first dose of the old spiropent, and as per many others went from clen to meth.
