the other day at the gym i had an epiphany about big weights and bbers etc
i realized that the difference between the chumps and the champs is
the champs never go even near their max, almost always nearly 90lbs below their max weight
why?
simple, they just go by feel "oh this feels light, add another plate each side, oh another one maybe, yeah this feels good, i'm gonna rep this one 12-15 times"
and the chumps want to kill themselves with a couple of shitty ego reps just so they can add a plate, they are looking at the plate backwards
they seem to forget they are only a means to an end and not the end in itself
strength is dictated by genetic drug response combination in bodybuilding, if not you are training like a powerlifter
