Was he the man that was tested on Stan Lees Superhumans? The guy that appeared on the show apparently breaks lactic acid down in a way never before seen. Interesting even in theory.

That guy isn't even close to being an elite marathon runner. Even though his 3:00 marathon time is really good it's a joke to a real runner. He claims faster times but can't provide proof of it in any race. Even his bragging times is not elite.

if you had read any of his books you would know he has done endurance feats that only very few people alive has done. E.g. the south pole marathon.

He makes his living off of self promotion. A lot of what he does is gimmicks. Some of it can't be proven like his 38 miles a day through the Sahara.  He makes his living off of it. Many could walk jog 4 hour marathons in 50 days if it was their profession. I'm not saying it is easy. I will give him this. He is in incredible shape but he is not and will never be a world class athlete.

Agreed. Before all this ultramarathon crap, he was a marketing director in a company.. so he knows how to market himself.

Is there video evidence of this? He should put a "GoPro" camera on while he runs for days, and see what happens

Lance (Armstrong) was similar physiologically.  His VO2max was normal (for a world-class professional cyclist) but his lactate threshold, which the drugs don't affect to my knowledge, was super-human.

3 days straight? Ok his muscles don't fatigue apparantly but he doesn't get out if breath? Bullshit, unless his name is Steve Austin
