80-Year-old Weightlifter Banned for Steroids by USADA
« on: September 01, 2013, 01:08:54 AM »
The crusade to keep performance-enhancing drugs out of sports is blind to age. The same organization that took down Lance Armstrong has done the same to a senior citizen.

The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency announced Friday that it has banned 80-year-old weightlifter Don Ramos, of Colorado Springs, Colo., after he tested positive for steroids.

Ramos is now banned for two years and won't be eligible to compete again until July 2015.

The geriatric juicer was attempting to set a world record for his age group at the Pan American Masters Weightlifting Championships back in June.

I knew the pro-steroid posts were coming.

Okay, fine.  Just tell him to stay off the fucking competititive lifting platform where the other guys are doing it without drugs.
