Oooooooh - I didn't pick up on that - I just thought, "Man, walt is just straight up being a dick right now!!!!!"  But fuck great insight there!  Awesome observation sir!"

It was so out of character for him... but it seemed like there was a moment on the phone when she had the "ah-ha" moment and started playing along.

He stole the baby to bring in the heat... Be put it all on himself.   The preview shows Saul worried the drug crew needs him... with 69 million bucks, one would think they'd just retire from the game too lol... but what fun would that be, when they have slave Jesse cooking for them.

I don't know where the show can go from here... Walter decides to pre-emptively kill Todd's crew to protect Skyler?  Why the big guns?  Did the show just peak?  How can they POSSIBLY top this episode?

Anyway, Walt probably had that Plan B all along.  Really, he should have just chloroformed everyone, had saul's guy pick them up, and everyone wakes up a millionaire in a tropical, non-extradition country.

This really is a very brilliant show.  As good as teh Wire?  I dont think so.  That show was cleverer.  But the brilliance here is top notch.

Yeah and you noticed that when he started tearing him as he went all Heisenberg on her, that he really didn't mean what he was saying!  Fuck so smart this show!  I feel really bad for Jessie - the shit he must've gone through / still will go through with todd's family!  Sucks!  but he was a rat!

Jesse...

He should have gotten in the van and gotten his ass to alaska.

Turning snitch.. betraying Walt... even though he had killed too...  Spitting in walt's face...

THEN

everything changed.  He gets his ass whooped... tortured... imprisoned to make meth... ironic, but wow... he started as Cap'n Cook... it's what he wanted... now he gets to reap the suffering that he sowed upon the world.  This is prison/hell for Jesse, and he is deserving of it.    Jesse is suffering and his only way out is to use chemistry (red phosphorus?) to burn that cable and run outta there... Or just suffer and cook.

Saul will live... His show has to follow BB.

Skyler had her chance to break bad - go with walt - and she stopped it.  She stayed good.  She will survive with kids.

Hank is dead.  Gomey dead. Mike, Gus, Gail, everyone has met their fate.  Walt just keeps on causing it.  most of the strings are tied off.

WALT?  What will his punishment be?  That has to be the biggest question remaining.

Agree with this. I think the cancer will get Walt in the end. GREAT SHOW.

Next week.... Episode 15... Entitled, "The Granite State"

I'm guessing Saul's "dissappear guy" sends Walt to New Hampshire, where he grows hair, drives an old sedan, and hides out for 6 months' winter... before returning for some all-out showdown with a machine gun and ricin for Lydia's tea?  :)

and how fast everything changes.   Jesse is a millionaire, able to do anything he wants.

A few days later, he's broke and scraping enough to escape to alaska to start over.

A few days later, he's the star DEA snitch, betraying Walt and spitting on him while doing do.

A few hours later, he's the slave meth cook, tortured and bloody.

Next week?  He'll probably escape, killing 4 guys while doing so, and end up saving walt's skin.

really... the show is modern day Shakespeare.  it is.

so many levels of betrayal and honor and sacrifice.  Only US the viewer truly knows the sacrifice and depths of evil seen with Walt.  Truly a dichotomy.  History will view him as an evil drug dealer... He never wanted it, but it did change him, and still to the end, much of his intentions were honorable and pure.

This show runs circles around Romeo & Juliet.  Way deeper, way more complex, characters with so many sides...

Jesse has to be the one who takes out the rednecks. He has hated Todd ever since he took out that kid and now they are threatening his girl and her son he will do anything to kill him.

I predict he uses the chemical trick they used to kill the first two guys in the pilot. After that is the final showdown actually between Walt and Jesse?

I dont think that was totally intentional.  his reaction was inline with what happened in the house and the way he rubbed salt in Jesses wound by admitting he essentially killed his previous girlfriend,  but it obviously worked to her advantage. Guess we wont really know until the next episode, if its clarified at all. I still think part of Walt was truly disgusted with her for opening her mouth to their son and pulling the kniife on him.

there is a moment when he starts calling her a bitch - very out of character for him - that Skyler's eye looks to the FBI agent in her home (left, recall, logic), then up and to the right, getting creative.  She starts playing along with the lie, and at one point even AGREES with Walt that she doesn't know a single thing about his business.

He is smart enough to know the police are there - a kidnapping was made from his home with 911 on the line.  That call was entirely to clear Skyler and let them know hank was in the ground and it was all on HIM and him alone.  Nobody caught that on the Talking Bad show - finally, host Chris hardwick had to blurt it out in the closing seconds of the show, and Hank actor Dean Norris confirmed it.  Walt took all the blame.  You could see tears running down his face... Has to stop to collect himself.  This is his 'goodbye' call.

NOW - He runs and lives in New hampshire for 6 months... returning only to Save someone with that ricin in the finale....

So I'm guessing (only 2 episodes left)... This week he runs to NH and hides... Then in the final episode, he wishes himself a happy 52nd BDay at a Waffle House, picks up his weapon (ricin) and then sits down and poisons himself along with the targeted bad guy (lydia tea??)

I'm predicting Walt dies on his 52nd Birthday.

He's going to go for broke and rescue Jesse.  It's a play on scar face but instead of going out the villain in a blaze of glory he's going to go out as a partially redeemed semi-hero. If he's already dead from the cancer, he has nothing to lose.  Watching this season is kind of frustrating because you can see they had a lot more material for at least one more season.

Season Finale starts like this (in NH)...

Walt is content reading “Leaves of Grass" by the fireplace (M60 by his side of course) and following his family's growth and prosperity via instagram :)

Saul finds out that Jesse is a meth slave.  Walt has been given just weeks to live, so he decides to return now that the heat is down, have a meet with Todd's crew... poison them with Ricin like Gus did with the tequila.  They all have a drink, and Uncle even offers some to Jesse, but he remembers the Mexico trip and decides to pass.   Then Walt goes home (wherever the family is), has a wonderful evening with them, and falls asleep and passes away while holding his baby with his forgiving son and understanding wife by his side.  We see a cut-in of Todd's crew falling over and jesse using chemistry to escape his chains.  Walt has given his family financial security and leaves this world surrounded with them.  PERFECT.
