I keep hearing these senators and house members who support the war repeating one thing in the media. That they are confident that their fellow members of congress
wouldn't dare jeopardize America by voting no.
What the fuck was Obama's point in going to Congress with this if he had no interest in Congress playing a real role with a real debate and a real vote. Instead of that they're painting anyone who votes no as one willing to put America in danger.

Rand Paul was right to say the admin was making a spectacle of Congress. The sole point of this looks like it was to get opponents in line and give the media time to get public opinion turned around. I guess Obama needs the appearance of the people being for this since nobody else in the world wants to sign up for this one..
