In the day's weirdest news, Lauren Harries has revealed she had sex with Russell Brand way back in 2006 after meeting him on the Big Brother set.

She blogged about the encounter which took place in a Holiday Inn in Borehamwood, Essex, near the CBB studios. And it sounds PRETTY romantic.

Lauren claims that the comedian flirted with her after she appeared on Big Brother's Big Mouth, which he presented, and then later came to her hotel room and they got intimate.



"It was 8.15pm, usually my time for changing into a negligee and cuddling up with my picnic, but tonight was different," she says. "Tonight I had a date. I had little experience of dating men in Britain, as soon as they knew who I was, they were frightened off, not because of my small fame, but because I used to be a man. Is this too much for as man to accept? I knew it would take a man with real awareness and strength to take me on."

She goes on to describe how she had a bath and changed into sexy lingerie before waiting for Russell to call up to her room. But clearly it wasn't everything she was hoping for.

She later tweeted: "I had sex with Russell Brand in one of [Big Brother production company] Endemol's cheap hotels. Although Russell thinks he's Jesus - believe me girls, he's not."

UPDATE: We've contacted Russell's 'people' for comment and haven't heard back yet.

However, Russell's just addressed the story in an offhand Tweet, saying: "Mum: You wouldn't do it with that Lauren lady- you hardly knew him! Me: To be fair Mum that's not stopped me in the past.

"With respect to the ol' transgender community, I didn't have it off with the antiques kid off Wogan. My favourite media lie ever though."
