George Zimmerman has been taken into custody in central Florida over a matter involving a gun and another person, WKMG Local 6 reports. Zimmerman's wife, Shellie, called the police and told them he was threatening her and her dad with a gun, the Associated Press tweeted.

Police said they were called because of a dispute involving Zimmerman and another person. Police are looking into "possible domestic battery" on Sprucewood Road in Lake Mary, Fla., the Orlando Sentinel's Jeff Weiner tweeted.

The incident comes days after Zimmerman's wife Shellie filed for divorce following an explosive TV interview. He was also caught speeding in recent days for the second time since his acquittal.

Zimmerman was found not guilty in July of second-degree murder for the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed 17-year-old.

Way to rush to judgement.  It sounds like there was an argument as someone was moving all of their stuff out of the house.  I doubt George threatened them with a gun, but they knew they could call the police on him and they would come and place him in investigative detention until they figure out what happened.  This is common procedure and happens all the time.  If they find nothing significant, they will release him.
