I get Halal food from the cart trucks in NYC. Its amazing. Though Tikka Masala is good.

Id go with the Halal. But I usually do not add the red sauce, just the white sauce, with a pita bread on the side.

I didn't know you live in NY, let alone know your way with the corner foods too. When I'm out drinking with my girlfriend or friends around downtown area, we tend to hit up 53rd and 6th for the drunken food. It's cheap too for all that food.

 Tikka Masala hands down.  Halal Chicken is good if prepared by a true Muslim because they eat it on a regular basis

lol!!  That still doesn't make sense.  The butcher (who has to be muslim) is required to proclaim "in the name of Allah" before slaughtering the animal.  You could have this dish made with regular chicken.
