He said upwards of 200.... Um no. If you can bench that much more with a shirt, you are NEVER benching without one. Period. If you do both like this kid they are talking about you will average around 80 lbs. I have done both.... At the national level. He's wrong OR putting a shirt on for no reason then when tries to bench without it he gets WTFPWNED.

I don't powerlift anymore....quit a long time ago but I did achieve 400 all before I discontinued. My best bench was 455 at 235 very small arch, raw a long time ago.

no, I said 200lbs - which is what you can get from maxing out a super katana. the SK is pretty much the same as old multiply shirts, mine took 600 to even touch a two board, which was retarded compared to my old f6 (which was barely better than a Slingshot)

even at my old hole in the wall PLing gym there were a few guys getting 150-200 from their SKs

Suited powerlifting is more about protecting the lifter than about providing assistance. Well, at least that's how it started.

Besides, the strongest geared lifters are almost always the strongest raw lifters too
