I've not had much to do with Finland but all the Scandinavian countries are great places in my experience. I'm off to Copenhagen in December and might drop by in Malmo to see if it's fully 3rd world yet.

When you're in Malmö, i recommend you visiting "Rosengård"  ;)

As of 1 January 2007, the population was 21,955, of which 60 percent were born outside of Sweden.

In 2008 a total 86% of the population in the city district was of foreign background.

In 2009-2010, more than a dozen people with immigrant backgrounds were shot in the whole city.

Rosengård has also been the place for several violent clashes between local youth and authorities.

Fire crews have also been threatened and attacked. As a result, the Malmö Fire Department refused to respond to fire calls in Rosengård without police escort.

In late April 2010 major riots were started again. Cars, wagons, kiosks, building sheds, recycling stations and bicycle sheds were set ablaze.

Firefighters who attempted to put out the fires were subjected to stone throwing and fireworks, and thus had to receive police escort. Twenty riot-equipped police patrols were eventually also set in.

Paramedics are instructed not to get out of the wagon if there is any indication of possible danger.  Even if a person is laying bleeding on the ground.  So, next time an accident or a crime is committed and people on scene are acting a fool and no one is helping them, now they know why.  I was a paramedic a long time ago and if I rolled up on a fight, I wasn't getting out to assit until the scene was secure.

we need to place some Scotch-Irish up in that joint man

and btw, look what i found concerning the Scotch-Irish and US Presdents ;D ;D ;D

be proud man, be proud 8)

and btw, John Wayne is also of Scotch-Irish blood ;)

Wayne's ancestry included Scottish, Scots-Irish, Irish, and English.[11] He was brought up as a Presbyterian.[12][13]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scotch-Irish_American

Andrew Jackson
7th President, 1829-37: He was born in the predominantly Ulster-Scots Waxhaws area of South Carolina two years after his parents left Boneybefore, near Carrickfergus in County Antrim. A heritage centre in the village pays tribute to the legacy of 'Old Hickory', the People's President. Andrew Jackson then moved to Tennessee, where he began a prominent political and military career.
James Knox Polk
11th President, 1845-49: His ancestors were among the first Ulster-Scots settlers, emigrating from Coleraine in 1680 to become a powerful political family in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. He moved to Tennessee and became its governor before winning the presidency.
James Buchanan
15th President, 1857-61: Born in a log cabin (which has been relocated to his old school in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania), 'Old Buck' cherished his origins: "My Ulster blood is a priceless heritage". His father was born in Ramelton in County Donegal, Ireland. The Buchanans were originally from Stirlingshire, Scotland where the ancestral home still stands.
Andrew Johnson
17th President, 1865-69: His grandfather left Mounthill, near Larne in County Antrim around 1750 and settled in North Carolina. Andrew worked there as a tailor and ran a successful business in Greeneville, Tennessee, before being elected Vice-President. He became President following Abraham Lincoln's assassination.
Ulysses S. Grant[77]
18th President, 1869-77: The home of his maternal great-grandfather, John Simpson, at Dergenagh, County Tyrone, is the location for an exhibition on the eventful life of the victorious Civil War commander who served two terms as President. Grant visited his ancestral homeland in 1878. The home of John Simpson still stands in County Tyrone.[78]
Chester A. Arthur
21st President, 1881-85: His succession to the Presidency after the death of Garfield was the start of a quarter-century in which the White House was occupied by men of Ulster-Scots origins. His family left Dreen, near Cullybackey, County Antrim, in 1815. There is now an interpretive centre, alongside the Arthur Ancestral Home, devoted to his life and times.
Grover Cleveland
22nd and 24th President, 1885-89 and 1893-97: Born in New Jersey, he was the maternal grandson of merchant Abner Neal, who emigrated from County Antrim in the 1790s. He is the only president to have served non-consecutive terms.
Benjamin Harrison
23rd President, 1889-93: His mother, Elizabeth Irwin, had Ulster-Scots roots through her two great-grandfathers, James Irwin and William McDowell. Harrison was born in Ohio and served as a brigadier general in the Union Army before embarking on a career in Indiana politics which led to the White House.
William McKinley
25th President, 1897-1901: Born in Ohio, the descendant of a farmer from Conagher, near Ballymoney, County Antrim, he was proud of his ancestry and addressed one of the national Scotch-Irish congresses held in the late 19th century. His second term as president was cut short by an assassin's bullet.
Theodore Roosevelt
26th President, 1901-09: His mother, Mittie Bulloch, had Ulster Scots ancestors who emigrated from Glenoe, County Antrim, in May 1729. Roosevelt praised "Irish Presbyterians" as "a bold and hardy race."[79] However, he is also the man who said: "But a hyphenated American is not an American at all. This is just as true of the man who puts "native"* before the hyphen as of the man who puts German or Irish or English or French before the hyphen." [2] (*Roosevelt was referring to "nativists", not American Indians, in this context)
Woodrow Wilson
28th President, 1913-21: Of Ulster-Scot descent on both sides of the family, his roots were very strong and dear to him. He was grandson of a printer from Dergalt, near Strabane, County Tyrone, whose former home is open to visitors.
Richard Nixon
37th President, 1969-74: The Nixon ancestors left Ulster in the mid-18th century; the Quaker Milhous family ties were with County Antrim and County Kildare.

i dont blame them i would do the same. Specially if someone is shot or beaten up cause when they go out to help the guy his rivals gets mad and attack the paramedics. They have no respect for those guys. There was a school burning in rosengård and even the firedepsrtment didnt cet a pass to try to put down the fire at a fucking school. They started to throw rocks at them.   We give them a safe plCe to live far away from the war, food, free healthcare,  scyooleducation etc and this is the fucking thank we get.

Imagine white immigrants in iran trying to act that way lol they would tale control  and beat the shit pf them.

Yes, why would anyone offer asylum to people who are being indiscriminately murdered by their government?

Hahahaha, you bunch of sad c unts.

They are not being indiscriminately murdered by their own country, ...they are fleeing a war torn country.

A country at war because countries like the USA have chosen to supply known terrorists with money and weapons and set them loose encouraging them to create chaos, instability, and destruction upon yet another country, in a blatant attempt to destabilize and set back yet another middle eastern country in the interests of their masters Israel.

Unfortunately for both Israel and the USA, their attempts to destroy Assad, has only led to unity amongst law abiding moderates in Syria. Where there was previous opposition to Assad, those political forces have set their diferences aside in order to rally behind Assad, their country, and their national sovereignty.

Right now, the only ones still fighting Assad militarily, are the US, Saudi, and Israeli sponsored terrorists.

If the situation was one you found yourselves in... ie: Saudi Arabia, or some other country perhaps arming and financing terrorists to turn the USA into killing fields and rivers of blood, I would think many of you would want to see Canada and/or Mexico opening her arms to accept many of your wives, children, and elderly parents while you were fighting the invading terrorists.

Understand, ...these are war torn refugees, ...not immigrants. Leaving their country was not something they would have preferred, it was forced upon them. Without devious, meddlesome, foreign interventionism, these people would have been perfectly happy to stay home in Syria.

Some pretty ignorant, hypocitical, and ironic statements by many from a country whose citizens have long prided themselves on "Give us your poor, downtrodden masses... etc., etc., etc.,   :-\

It's not racist for a culture to want to defend and preserve itself from a group to whom it has no obligation and whose philosophy is contrary to western values of democracy, equality and personal freedom.   By the way, Islam isn't a race so any criticism against it can't be deemed racist.  Speaking of opportunistic invaders, Islam having invader and subjugated, destroyed and enslaved countless cultures is quite familiar with the concept.

It's pretty clear that in your eyes, the concept of, not to mention the esteemed virtues of democracy, equality and personal freedom significantly lose their lustre when the voice of democracy disagrees with you, or when others are placed on equal footing with you, or when they choose to exercise whatever personal freedoms that is their right.

A true believer in democracy, equality and personal freedom, shouldn't have a problem with people of different creeds, religions, and customs exercising and utilizing those very concepts you clai to hold in such high esteem.. All of a sudden those virtues becomes things to defend against. Your thought processes are so steeped in stupidity, they actually make sense to you.

Its not the voice of democracy, its politicians acting without the consent of the people and without considerations of the culture of their own country.  Its the exact same thing as my government sending its citizens over to fight a war the people weren't consulted on and don't agree with.

Did I say they do?  No, I didn't and that was precisely my point.  The Swedish government is not acting in the interest of their own people by allowing a large influx of immigrants who have no desire to assimilate to their culture.   People don't always call you naive, sometimes they call you stupid.

This is the mindset of those in power.  In the eyes of an elitist, the people are much to stupid to have a say in their own destinies so therefore it is the duty of the powerful to tell them what exactly they need.
