The real fun is the debt ceiling. That's one that can do some serious damage defaulting on our debt. That's the one to watch.

I'm a govt contractor too and I hope I get laid off for a few months. I could use an extended vacation.

This is what annoys me. You are fine with congress holding the good credit of the US, despite agreeing previously to spend this money. They have already spent this money, who in their right mind would argue a downgrade in credit and government slowdown as things to even consider.
