Men's Physique - The Tall Shorts

I am trying to figure out who are the smart guys that decided to put the men physique competitors in such tall shorts, fuck i cant see nothing above the knee what about a daisy duke or  shorts that shows at least half the quads or maybe they are trying to send a message that quads are not suppose to be trained.

Need to try to fashion in some overalls. I think they should be able to use props also, make it more realistic coming out carrying a sledge hammer or dressed up in school girl uniform with a backpack or something.

I thought the bb competition was a physique competition?   Don't understand the no legs thing either since it's a physique competition. 

Is this more of an "upper-bb competition" for fellas about 175lbs that focuses primarily on waist-twisting and ab-shooting?   

Don't understand the women's stuff either.....bb, physique, bikini, fitness........what is it all?

Obviously these guys are using gear. I think we should use this stuff to enhance our appearance by not sacrificing our hair, skin quality etc in return for bigger muscles. It sends a signal of good health...may not be the case however.
