Larry Scott & Phil Heath - Similar Mr. Olympias?

I like Phil Heath's physique but can't argue with the fact that he is one of the narrowest Mr. Olympia's ever.  Larry Scott had a similar issue and his physique was comparable to Heath's in the arm and delts department.  

BTW, I was hoping that Kai would win...

Larry also disliked the haters.  They fueled every workout. 

He was actually the first grown man to win a show and scream "I'm the champ!" for hours in a nightclub.  Now it seems everyone does it.

I don't know but Larry was pretty narrow. He had some good aestethics though and knew how to pose and twist to hide it.

Also, to be fair, Larry was much lighter than Heath. #205ish to #250ish, even if you take away Phil's couple of inch height advantage, you still need to image Larry about #30 pounds more to compete with Heath.

He did the best he could with what he had. Only Mr Olympia winner to win the contest on his try

Larry is actually a pretty big guy....obviously farm boy genetics.  He's in pretty bad shape nowadays with Alzheimers.....but he's still lifting weights from what I understand.


If you guys want a clear picture of Larry in his prime, go on Youtube and type Muscle Beach Party.  Its the movie he was in.  He's the 3rd guy to the right in this one flexing in the pink shorts....and obviously the guy in front with the cape.......that movie was prob an ego trip for him
