That's beautiful, man! In fact, that whole news piece reported on the business in general in a very respectable way. They didn't belittle and criticize wrestling, but rather pointed out what should be obvious: it's entertainment with skilled, diverse performers, and fun to watch.

Karl, how old were you and your brother when your Dad smartened you up?

I saw Tito Santana and the Warlord talking in the dressing room hallway before their match and if really bothered me, I was about 5 or 6.  In the car I asked my dad and he told me sometimes friends have to wrestle each other, like him and my Uncle Dickie. I bought it.
I remember him telling me once when I asked that they were really fighting but they decided who won before hand that's when I was about 10.

My brother and I would wrestled each other and ask my dad if we were good workers. We had no idea what we were asking.  We would take turns letting each other win and my dad said we were working. We asked if that's how it was done and he said yes.

I should have know all along. I saw videos of my dad and Stan Hanssen and Don Jardine (The Spoiler) killing each other, but then they'd be at the house having drinks.

On a side note Jardine would let me set in his lap and drink Booze from his glass. I liked when he would come over.

Brilliant, even at 47 you could see he knew how to handle himself. I can't imagine how it must have felt growing up like that, did you ever feel any pressure being his son? What a lifestyle, imagine having that today it just wouldnt be the same with the current product and the way things are.

On a side note, the kids reaction at 1:40 tears me up ha ha
