Yeah, but you're rich. If you were middle class, why wouldn't you buy refurbished stuff?

Cause you really don't know what others do to the products, plus you usually only have like a 2-3 month warranty instead of a year.

I had bad luck with refurbished ipods. They claim they are new using semantics of definitions because after they were refurbished they were never sold to anyone previous to you. I got two of them and they both stopped working after a week. Think about it. A device breaks and it is repaired. Do you trust it? Why did it stop working in the first place? So much can go wrong. If the electronic device has a battery is surely has less life in it than it did new.

Sometimes a lemon is just a lemon. You cannot always make lemonade out of it.

You get them for a lower price and guarantee is the same as a new product. It is a good idea to buy a refurbished laptop or cellphone? Or should I pay a little more for a new one?

I just found out that some places only sell this kind of items thus their low prices, but those fuckers aren't telling you that those products aren't exactly new >:(

Let me tell my experience about those: We try one of those in my workplace, because it seem to be cheap. Laptop came just as ordered, only little thing, it didn't start at all. We change it to another one, lot of difficulties, and it die on my hands. Third one also. After the third one, I was so pissed off, I just call the salesman and yell, and after this verbal beating, he was happy to send me brand new one. It was an older model, but it work fine and has been doing it's job five years now. Point is simple, when you buy cheap, what you get is cheap, and cheap hardly is good.

Thanks for supporting my beliefs.
